I was having a thought about light and i wanted some feedback so here goes:
Light changes wavelength over distance. What if, on a quantum level, the change in wavelength actually bends space-time.
On an oscilloscope, a high wave frequency would mean that each wave would cover a small area, but if you stretch that out, each wave is now covering more distance and has been narrowed. Since light behaves within the quantum realm, then perhaps as light gets stretched, then so does space and time.
Perhaps from an observer's viewpoint this may appear as if time is going faster because the light is covering more space.
What are your thoughts on this?
