Light Speed Question ?

If we do ever manage to go at light speed and we find that light actually slows down like in the film "Flight of the navigator" surely if we are going at light speed we would become light, from that point of view of a on looker ?<br />If that is the case when we are looking for intelegent life outside of our own galexy we should be looking for streaks of light that last for a short period of time. if aliens have mastered the light barrior they could be detected in this way ? <br />

Er - as in UFO's?<br /><br />I did not see the film.<br /><br />We may be going the speed of light relative to the portion of our universe which is receeding from us at the speed of light.<br /><br />Everything is relative.<br /><br />The only way we would become light is if we escaped earth's gravity.<br /><br />Or went on a diet!
