18 months for development of a new composite and apparently supersonc long-rang UAV is remarkable. Any details on how it is controlled? i.e. remotely piloted vs autonomous?

Polecat is an offshoot of the B-2 program. It is also a what if we automate the B-3 to suppliment the B-2 but with less stealthy features but still stealthy.

I also imagine there are about 30 to 45 A-45C's at Groom Lake waiting to take bombing runs in Southwest Asia.

Welcome to the B-3 bomber force of the future. 100 completely automated drone bombers and woola you can bomb at will....

Provided you get it past the fighter-jock brass that run the Air Farce, who may want none of it.
