I really liked this show when it first came out, but now I'm getting kind of tired of it. Many mysteries come up and damn few answers provided. The first season was cool but ever since then it's week after week with so many more questions I don't know where to begin, and can't even remember the questions anmore. The latest thing anmore is half the episode is flashback of one of the characters, and half the time it's a waste of time or filler anyway. I mostly just watch out of curiousity anymore.....

What are the smoke monsters?

Was jack's father alive on the island?

What are the connections of all the passengers?

What do Hurley's numbers mean?

How did Locke get handicapped/healed? (to be answered next week supposedly, we'll see)

The list goes on.....

CAUTION: SPOILER ALERT

They are all dead. They are in purgatory, and their 'souls' are being weighed in the balance.

Some have been 'judged' and have moved on, the rest are still 'in limbo'.

TPTB went to Dallas and all I got was Plucked !!

So many people, so few recipes !!

Let's clean up this stinkhole !!

That's as good an answer as any...I was on a forum on tv.com and they're all happy that the new episodes have 'answers', I'm like HUH??

Anyway, you should see this parody of the Lost writers...hits the nail on the head I think, and it's hilarious!:

http://www.i-am-bored.com/bored_link.cfm?link_id=22395

I haven't watched one episode of "Lost." Am I missing something extremely entertaining?
I put on my robe and wizard hat...

Yes.

And it's not just 'entertaining'. It is true, the events portrayed actually happened.

TPTB went to Dallas and all I got was Plucked !!

So many people, so few recipes !!

Let's clean up this stinkhole !!

"I haven't watched one episode of "Lost." Am I missing something extremely entertaining ? "

Certainly entertaining, especially the 1'st two seasons. This year it's getting just a bit annoying in that, like the OP said, they've left the viewers hanging with too many mysteries. At this point I'm just a tad tired of seeing one to many "cliff hangers" that don't get resolved. The show needs to move on.

-----------------------------------------------------

Ask not what your Forum Software can do do on you,

Ask it to, please for the love of all that's Holy, STOP !

I agree. The firtst two seasons were great entertainment. I tried watching the third (honest I did) but I guess the writers had no idea how to answer all those wonderful questions they threw up!

I think I'm going to wait until the series is over and then buy the DVD set. This series reminds me of Twin Peaks and that was impossible to follow if you hadn't watched it from the beginning.

I put on my robe and wizard hat...
