"Malapert Mountain" Earth's Moon South Pole...

I am looking for a more detailed topography map of the "Malapert Mountain" region located on the Moon's South Pole. Something I can zoom in on and circumnavigate. Lunar Map Pro w/3D Terrain Model looks pretty good.<br /><br />There is quite a lot of chatter about Malapert Mountain’s potential for a base, so I thought I might try and see for myself.<br /><br />I am surprised at the difficulty of locating detailed maps, or at least maps that I can circumnavigate, and I am equally surprised that it costs money to access them.<br /><br />$80 bucks really isn’t that much when I think about it.<br /><br />I wonder if Space.com would be interested in making that software available for those who are really interested in circumnavigating the Moon, and Mars.<br /><br />That would really give us something to research, and chat about. I bet Space.com could work out a deal, in which they paid royalties to the publishers or what not.<br /><br />I bet Space.com could monetize something like this very easily, and I bet Space.com would have no trouble finding backers/advertisers that are willing to fill those slots.<br /><br />http://jatslo.com/ : Jatslo <br />
