Where might it come from? Magma? -- so far not seen -- or life? -- also not seen to date. Some other process? Is methane being broken down by means other than sunlight? By dust storm generated electricity?<br /><br />Wow! Fun times ahead. We need to get an orbiting mission to Mars that can answer these questions and hopefully produce a detailed, animated, methane map of Mars and ID point sources. What a pity if it turns out to be much ado about nothing. <div class="Discussion_UserSignature"> </div>
