That's a good piece of detective work to better reconcile the methane measurements from Curiosity Rover and the ExoMars Trace Gas Observer by time of day. How much will there be other observations by Curiosity soon in the daytime just to confirm these now looking more likely daily variations in methane? Also what plans are there in the future to have something like the Ingenuity rotorcraft to be able to detect methane just a short altitude above the surface of Mars or perhaps the ability to detect methane in the atmosphere higher up but still well below orbiting altitude of a airplane or glider or balloon in Mars' atmosphere that could measure methane in the air around it?
