IG2007, *@rod is a good one :) No I do not know about how someone with a meteorite sample can get it classified. I would imagine groups that work with meteorite collectors and examine the sample for stony, stony-iron, or cc types would know more.

Addendum
Just a couple days before this issue of Meteorite Times was published I received the word that both the meteorites had been approved and had their number designations. The meteorite I have featured in this article is officially NWA 13090.
