The only thing standing between mining celestial object for resource is time. It will eventually happen. No doubt about it.

Eventually? When? How long before the Earth starts running out of resources and celestial mining will become economically feasable? Or will the Earth never run out of resources? I've been hearing dire warnings about oil running out in thirty years, but they always manage to discover new sources...
