Monday Night Football on the Moon

Idea for a new SF TV series -- Monday Night Football on the Moon.<br /><br />Play it exactly like an MNF game here on Earth:<br /><br />1) There's a league with many teams and divisions.<br />2) The domed stadium full of fans, some holding up signs spelling out "ESPN" and some in goofy costumes<br />3) Cheerleaders in revealing outfits<br />4) Highlights of weekend games at halftime<br />5) Players getting injured<br />6) Updates on standings<br />7) Playoffs and super bowl would end the season<br /><br />etc etc.<br /><br />Of course, the whole thing is fictional, but the TV series would be simply a series of games and you'd watch it like a real season of football. And we'd get to watch how a sport would be played in 1/6 G. With today's CGI technology, such a TV series could be made and look really good. Imagine how far a kickoff would fly. And think of the acrobatics when a player leaps over the pile at a goal-line stand. The 10-mile long Hail Mary passes. <br /><br />It would be very entertaining. <div class="Discussion_UserSignature"> </div>

Just imagine the possibilities of 1/6g for cheerleaders in revealing outfits. A formation of them in revealing outfits plus angel wings <i>flying</i> over the crowd while performing suggestive pelvis movements. Woohoo!

The kickoff would be better than the pitch... balls will fly everywhere!! Just imagine the football players getting injured by floating to the inzone.... cool? And the tackling/sack will be like a pillow fight at a slumber party. Let's not forget about the solar flares... what a show it'll be.<br /><br />Great Idea! i play football for my high school and this sounds fun i like the cheerleders idea but playing football with the moon's gravity would be so hard but hey i'll do it
