Looks like China would be a more consistent technological partner for Europe. now that both Democrat and Republican U.S. administrations have cut this project in the past, and Russia keeps invading its neighbors. At least until China invades Taiwan.

The stupid thing about humans is that we could get a lot more accomplished and live better lives if we did not keep getting our desires hijacked by "leaders" who put their own desires ahead of those that they are "leading".
