Seems that NASA has already bounced back.
I love the new story in Space.com about the new sub-orbital market developing. I love the fact that NASA is already looking to foster this private sector business model. I love the fact that many of these private sub-orbital companies have been strengthened by the government being amiable to their new venture. I love this period.
Much science will develop from this program about Earth upper atmosphere and the technology development from this will slowly allow these companies to expand into orbital travel.
The best thing that could have happened to NASA has happened. Cutting out of the fat. It’s already a more nimble agency. Love it.
