NASA hopes new study helps bring UFO research into the mainstream

"Unidentified Flying Objects" or "Unidentified Aerial Phenomena" are real enough - just unidentified as to their causes. Even if you are absolutely sure that none of them are caused by little green men from space, it seems ridiculous to say that they should not be investigated to determine their causes. Note the plural, please.

At this point, it is especially important to understand why our military sensors are displaying things that don't seem to make sense. Even just fixing a technological sensor glitch could be important. More important could be identifying intentional faking of targets, which could be a military strategy. And, of course, we might also learn some interesting things about natural phenomena, including ball lightning, earthquake aerial effects, etc.
