I have been reading about how NASA intends to develop two versions of the CEV.<br /><br />The smaller version will be a crew transfer vehicle. <br />Question: Why is the seating capacity limited to 3 persons when a fell crew for the I.S.S. is a crew pf 6 persons? With the amount of money being invested in I.S.S., I think should carry 6 persons so we can get maxinum use of I.S.S.<br /><br />A second version will be a cargo hauler. Why is this version being developed when there is the Delta IV Heavy already available?
