Let's do it right and be done with it. Block off all sunlight. Redirect sunlight to poles. Tropics at the poles and an ice ring at the equator. Constant season and climate control. Banded climates of your choice. To live and vacation in.

Why would they want to combat a natural occurrence? It doesn't make sense just like saying EVs are better for the environment.
