Hello,

In the may 2005 issue of National geographic, there is an interesting article titled: Beyond the Big Bang: Einstein's evolving universe.

The article is short and sweet, and very easy to understand. It centers around Einstein's "failed" notion of the cosmological constant, and how today's cosmologists are bringing back that theory to determine the past and future of the universe.

Also interesting is the apparent endorsement of the hypothetical theories of multiverse and big rip. I suppose that more people will accept them now that the magazine has accepted them.

Anyway, it is a pretty cool article and there are some sweet CGIs, on shows an infinite universe grid thing where universes are being born, expanding, and dying. There is another drawing of what Dark matter would look like if you could see it, and there is a pictue of the big rip.

AC15
