So i've been using my normal digitial camera (dont get me wrong, its perfectly fine) for minor astrophotography of the Moon and some stars, albeit a bit blurry. One major issue i have is the cg of my 4" celestron reflector changes, and tosses it off about 5-7 degrees.

Im thinking about investing in Orion's Starshoot CCD. I assume its lighter, so the cg issue would be smaller, but does anyone know if $100 is worth it? My Lumix can already take videos, i just don't know how to image stack them.

Is it more wise to spend the money, or read my photoshop manual on image stacking?
