Sorry Andrew, I still can't find the image. The numbers don't match. The closest are:

Magazine B contains AS16-114-18383 to AS16-114-18470 [88 color images (88 surface; 0 orbital; 0 other)]

Magazine SS contains AS16-124-19822 to AS16-124-19925 [104 black & white images (0 surface; 85 orbital; 19 other)]

Sorry

John

Whether we become a multi-planet species with unlimited horizons, or are forever confined to Earth will be decided in the twenty-first century amid the vast plains, rugged canyons and lofty mountains of Mars Arthur Clarke

Hi Jon.

Sorry it was my stupid mistake. Instead of AS16-114-XXXXX, it should have been,
AS16-124-XXXXX.

Link directly to image AS16-124-19888.

It was Magazine SS AS16-124-19822 to AS16-124-19925.

So I hope that helps & thank you for pulling me up on that.

Hi Jon, shuttle_guy & MeteorWayne.

Thank you very much for your positive responses. I have enjoyed doing this very much.
I agree, those showing the solar corona & the background stars, is a real poke in the eyes
of the woo-woo crowd.
As you have all probably noticed, I do not take such pseudo scientific nonsense lightly.

The Apollo astronauts thought the layering was real, despite the fact that researchers
think the layering is illusionary. IMO, the layering is very real & the photographs show it very
clearly.
I am most interested in this.

The Apollo 15 & 17 sites should be re-visited IMO.

Below is a nice image also of the Solar Corona from behind the moon,
from Apollo 15 this time. The stars Castor & Pollux are visible to the left of the
solar corona.

Magazine R. AS15-98-13311.

Another good one to jab the woo-woos with.

Andrew Brown.

"I suddenly noticed an anomaly to the left of Io, just off the rim of that world. It was extremely large with respect to the overall size of Io and crescent shaped.
