Maybe you were thinking of Yuri Gagarin, the first man in space, rather than Neil Armstrong, the first man on the moon?

_______________________________________________
SpeedFreek

When I saw the title of this thread and the location, I thought the title was a reference to a certain Star Trek character (Q). Wrong.

Will Pittenger
Add this user box to your Wikipedia User Page to show your support for the SDC forums:
{{User:Will Pittenger/User Boxes/Space.com Account}}

Yes, I was as well hoping for the same. "Q" is an interesting character. Have you ever heard a recording of "Q vs. Spock" I and II? At least the first one was done, I think, at a dinner like show at a casino place.

It was about the first time Spock met Q and was trying to get Q to move an asteroid from Earth's path. It was, to quote Spock, "quite interesting". I found it at a audio rental place a few years ago.

Q might be closer than you think. I hear he's a peeping tom watching all his favorite women through their shower door -- at the same time.

Will Pittenger
Add this user box to your Wikipedia User Page to show your support for the SDC forums:
{{User:Will Pittenger/User Boxes/Space.com Account}}

There is a book that I have been meaning to get and read for years.

The theme of it is that the Squire of Gothos - Trelane, was from the Q continuum, and was causing a lot of trouble there...

Wayne

"1) Give no quarter; 2) Take no prisoners; 3) Sink everything." Admiral Jackie Fisher

Yes, that is a good book to read. But I think it was a series of books called the Q Continium(sp) or something of that nature. But I may be mistaken as it was a few years ago, and I never got past the first one though.

But another book that was fun to read was "Q-in-law". That was where Mrs. Troi got the hots for Q and he asked Picard for HELP!!

Heheh, I thought the thread was going to be about Q too! When I saw the question my first thought was did I miss an episode when Q met Neil Armstrong?

_______________________________________________
SpeedFreek

I guess "Q" could stand for the rating of the initial poster -- a quark.

Quite a lengthy thread, actually, to have been Quick-started by a fly-by-night Quark.
Just tell the truth and let the chips fall...
