He was populiser of science in bengali,my &%$#@!ry.HE WAS BORN IN 1864.He was professor in physics and chemistry from 1903 till death he was principal of the college He died in 1919.At the time India was under British rule.Books in science was books and article in Bengali.Yes he did.

From the very first class, Ramendra Sundar Tribedi stood first. After obtaining B. Sc. degree being first, took physics and chemistry as subjects and got Premchad Scholarship.<br /><br />Was a professor of Ripon College of Kolkata and later, was the principal.<br /><br /><br />[edit] Writing career<br />Ramendra Sundar Tribedi has mainly written books based on science and philosophy. We were under British rule upto 1947.So frankly competent persons choose to wrie in English at that time.But he wrote popular science in Bengali.
