S-IVB Impacts on the Moon

Would the S-IVB stages from Apollo 15, 16 and 17 have impacted the moon before or after their respective landings?<br />Were the S-IVB's given a slight delta-v after extraction of the LM?<br />

Off the top of my head I would say before since you had to complete at least one orbit of the moon before landing...

I believe there are high rez. images on the internet- I saw some a while back of the Apollo 14 LEM and S-IVB impact areas. Try googling them, as I do not recall the URLs.
