Is this disregarding the third movie? There wasn't really anything in the third to suggest any of this occurring and some lines could be taken as evidence against it.

In this case it takes place after T2 and, obviously, before Sarah's death from leukemia which was well before the events in T3.

Frequently the content of TV shows based on movie series is non-canonical. Not always, but frequently.

I'd like to see T4 set in the post-apocalyptic future when victory is finally secured - that would be something to watch.

Worth it just for Summer Glau saying 'come with me if you want to live'.

Well I'd certainly follow her through one of those time machines.

Didn't that actress also play Tasha Yar's sister in a NxGen show? I seem to remember that.

Did you ever see the expanded version of Term. II? They had outtakes from other versions of the show, that according to my wife, really explained some parts of the show. You have to watch John try to teach the Term. to laugh. That was priceless. To me, with his square face, he looked like a horse trying to learn how to laugh.

And I remember, I hope correctly, that there was a scene where they had to remove slugs from Him, and do some minor surgery. But to make it work because they had to dig into His back, they used her twin sister as a mirror image of her so all could see Arnold's face on the other side. I think it was called the Making of Term.II.

Summer Glau's career started in 2002, long after TNG went off the air, with an appearance on TV's Angel. Her next role was on Firefly.

Ishara Yar was played by Beth Toussaint in the TNG episode "Legacy", and by the way she was on the same HS track team as Julie Strain

Beth Toussaint Pic....

< Beth Toussaint>

Aha! She has a very striking appearance. I also remember her as one of the two different actresses who played Anna Sheridan (the lost wife of John Sheridan) on the TV show Babylon 5.

Well Linda Hamilton does have an identical twin and she was used in the expanded nuclear blast sequence. I haven't seen the rest of the expanded film for ages though and I can't remember the details of the other scenes.

Of course, recoil from real Minigun would have sent him flying. In fact, Terminator made of any reasonable metal would need his feet bolted to the floor in order to fire Minigun standing up.
