Ok maybe some one can help me here. Every night (recently) I look up and I see a very bright star in the Southeastern skies. I live in Texas if that helps... Anyway I would say its more east than south. But it is accompanied by a much smaller dimmer star. Can someone let me in on which star this is? I have not noticed it before. I hope one of you can help me out here with the limited info I have on this. If you have the chance tonight look up in to the southwestern sky, you can’t miss it it's the brightest star up there. My wife was like "It's the North Star"... Well it just can’t be...

Thanks in advance
Sean
