Space junk

The consideration to keep in mind is called space junk, we got quite some trash up there in orbit of our planet. It's considered not to be a problem due that the size of the object would burn in our atmosphere. But we of Asgardia want to go to space and we require to keep in mind out of the prospect of security, what do we do about the space junk? And is there a possibility that space junk might be dangerous for Earth and its` population?

Space Junk right now is probably not to big of a problem, but could be at the rate at which it is occurring. It probably wont hurt humans but could damage expensive spacecraft. It should be fine especially many mission ideas to help clean up space!

The growing number of space items can lead to what is known as the ‘Kessler syndrome’, which represents a state where the object density is so high that one collision is enough to generate a cascade effect, leading to further collisions.

The british space company is conserened with this issue and made the Clearspace-1 satellite, or ‘The Claw’, represents the first step towards a clean space environment by being the first space debris removal dedicated mission. Through Elecnor DEIMOS, the UK plays a vital role in the development of the spacecraft, by designing its Attitude and Orbit Control System

Yes, but with missions planned to clean that up it shouldn’t be much of a problem. Also most of the junk is not big enough to make it through the atmosphere. If we look at it on the bright side, if an asteroid comes we sort of got a shield of space junk!

Nice idea but . . . . . . . . . not very practical. Anything big enough to harm "Planet Earth" would be totally unaffected by a small piece of space junk.

I assume that this kind of mission is made mostly to avoid colisions with these space junk and avoid damages that can these space junk make and put whole space mission that may cost fortune under threat

That’s why I said sort of!

Why are we not landing the sky crane for Peserverance to salvage instead of crashing?
We could fly away, inflate balloons like Spirit and Opportunity, and drop it to the surface.
There are at least 8 small engines on that thing.
Leave it in the balloons until salvage.
Remember this number, 300,000,000 miles.

It costs so much money to get stuff into orbit that it just seems insane to let it re-enter the atmosphere and burn up. To start with it should be engineered in a way that it can be reused. Maybe there should be some kind of space recycling center created to coral the junk until it is needed. For example the cygnus cargo containers, put the trash in a plastic bag and send it into the atmosphere but keep the cygnus containers for use on the next space platform. Replace the word expendable with reusable. Reference: United Galaxy Sanitation Patrol Cruiser.

Balloons are cheap. Expendable is expensive.
