Star cluster overrun with black holes may dissolve into space, study finds

The article says, "The researchers focused on Palomar 5, a globular cluster about 11.5 billion years old located in the Milky Way's halo, about 65,000 light-years from Earth in the Serpens constellation."

Palomar 5 formed about 2.3 billion years after the BB event. The universe size was very different when Palomar 5 first formed compared to today's value, some 93 billion light-years in diameter (CMBR z~1100). When Palomar 5 formed using BB expanding universe model and cosmology calculators, the diameter near 11 billion light years. An enormous expansion of 3D space took place in the BB model for us to enjoy seeing Palomar 5 today and study BHs in it :)
