I have just tried to contact the pres of the White Mountain Astronomy Club to find out when the first Star Party of the year will be. If anyone in AZ is interested in joining us please check my profile for my email address & send me a note there or by PM.
The parties are on Saturdays at the Sipe Wildlife area just south of Springerville/Eager. The temperatures right now can get as low as 40f, so you wimps from Phoenix bring a heavy coat!!
Most of the old timers in the group have nice scopes in the 6" to 10" range. My parents neighbor next door might be convinced to bring up his 12" Meade, but it's pretty difficult to move & set up.
At the very least bring binoculars, you can see tons of stuff with those.
Hope to see some of you guys this summer!!!

.

Never roll in the mud with a pig. You'll both get dirty & the pig likes it.
