No one cares about what Kylo Ren was up to between 8&9. We want Ben Solo back. And we want Rey to retrieve him from the World Between Worlds. Someone in that family deserves a happy ending.

Nobody cares. Even the actor that played Kylo Ren doesn't care. Ben Solo had a story before Disney but Kathleen Kennedy refuses to accept all the great material that came before Disney and keeps producing garbage. Not a single person that watched the new movies cares about Kylo Ren. It is a water of time to create new stories based on him as even the actor that portrayed him in the movie isn't interested.
