I've looked at the RedShift website and their comparison shows them to be better than StarryNight.
But in reality which is the best one to get or is there another offering out there I am not seeing?
Is there an independent site that compares all of these to make the decision easier to make?

It really depends on what you want to do with it.
I happen to use SkyMap Pro, and it serves my needs well. But I'm a meteor guy, however when telescope observing between showers, I can get highly accurate maps.

But the Krell forgot one thing John.
