Hi Maybe slightly off topic but thought I'd try to get any info on the superconductors that work at higher temps. Like the experiment with the helium cooled ceramic superconductor with a levitating magnet above it. All the reference describe it as the magnet causes a current to circulate in the cooled superconductor. This isn't clear to me as it sounds like free energy to me if a non moving magnet induces a circulating current in the superconductor. Does anyone know what happens if an external circuit is attached to the superconductor. Does the magnet fall? Is there any measureable current in the attached circuit?
