Despite the bailout frenzy, I don't think that the Taxpayer is responsible for keeping private enterprise alive by any other means than direct patronage.

I agree, it seems that the free market business principle would apply.
If the article refers to rising costs of airplanes, maybe they need to buy them from China or Mexico (?)

I just have a hard time understanding the alleged end user fee (the poorly conceived one).
Is it the government that is perhaps imposing a tariff on air travel?

Maybe the article should just be more clear, and explain the situation in more detail.
The bailout pandemic is certainly something to be vigilant of, dragon, thanks for bringing it up. I do not know
if this is related, but true it is.
