The Shuttle boosters are referred to alternately as the Solid Rocket Booster (SRB) and the Reusable Solid Rocket Motor (RSRM). Are the two terms completely interchangable or do they refer to different things? I'm getting the impression that the RSRM is one component of the SRB, the other components being the TVC, separation and recovery systems. Is that right?

>Whats in a name?
That which we call a Solid Rocket Booster, by any other acronym, would put a million-plus pounds of thrust and roar as sweetly.
I just wondered if the two terms were exchangable that's all.
