One difference between the Abomination and the Hulk in the comic book world.

In theory, the Hulk's strength is unlimited, as he gets stronger the madder he gets. The Abomination is at a constant - if incredibly high level of strength.

Doc Sampson has a similar relationship in terms of high, but constant streength.

Abomination is one of my favorite somewhat under used villians in the Marvel Universe. My favorite in this category is the Super Adaptoid.

This could be a special effects extraveganza - hopefully, a good movie can coexist with that.

Wayne

"1) Give no quarter; 2) Take no prisoners; 3) Sink everything." Admiral Jackie Fisher

I was a fan of the old series. Occasionally, I'll still sit through a re-run. I just pray they don't fudge up the Hulk mythos too much.
I put on my robe and wizard hat...

Nuttin' wrong with the Hulk that a few sessions of anger management training wouldn't cure.
Just tell the truth and let the chips fall...

So this is not connected to the 'Hulk' movie of about four or so years ago?

Different director, writers, producers and cast. We'll see if his "look" is retained.

Personally I think the work done by ILM was pathetic. Hulk had poor mass distribution, unrealistically textured & non-translucent skin and a nearly expressionless face. His muscle movements were like Jello, the lighting on his body was odd at best and the animation was poor in that you could see where the key-frames were placed. YUK.

They learned their lessons and did much better in Pirates/Davey Jones though they still have a ways to go with digital mattes.

As for direction; Ang Lee spent too much time on characterization and not enough on balls-to-the-wall action. Louis Leterrier's pattern in the "Transporter" films is more what a Hulk film needs.

Nuttin' wrong with the Hulk that a few sessions of anger management training wouldn't cure.

Plus about 50 gallons of chloral hydrate
