Asimov wrote a number of Robot / detective novels. I can't remember which book it was, but in one of them they are on a planet where there are only a small number of inhabitants. They do not have any physical contact and communicate through robots and vidscreens. There is a murder and they bring in someone to help solve it. Sounds very similar to the comic. <div class="Discussion_UserSignature"> </div>
