Ok maybe a logical experiment, but I like those simple, cute "little guys", so it seems a bit cruel to use their species as a guide to a more complex species' capabilities. If one really wants to test human adoptability to the extremes living off Earth, I have an extensive list of politicians none of whom have the appealing characteristics and likableness of Tardigrades, and would probably relish the opportunity for devising a snazzy a campaign slogan.
