We never landed on the moon for Christmas. We orbited in 1968 on Apollo 8 on xmas. Come on Space.com I thought you would get these things correct.

Most people writing for websites today weren't even alive in 1968. No one under the age of 56 was alive then. No one under retirement age was old enough to watch and remember it.
