When switching from the SDC to the forums or clicking on my user ID using the latest Firefox browser I get this:

This web page at http://www.space.com has been reported as an attack page and has been blocked based on your security preferences.

Wha?!!! What is going on... Would someone please lend me some insight why on earth this is showing up now of all times.

Thanks kindly,
L

Yeah, Google is reporting past activity for host sites but, none for SDC specifically.

But, the thing is, while they are wrong that SDC is an "Attack Site" they are not wrong in that users should be cautious consider the problems SDC has had recently with malware'd ads..

Of course, if they had yanked those immediately and went straight to the Marketers with it as someone suggested <cough cough> they probably wouldn't have been blacklisted..

Though, I do understand the practical considerations of such an action. Still.. /shrug That's why malware costs teh intranetz bajillions of dollars a year. It's much more than simply being "incovenient." So, people end up paying through the nose because of it simply because there are things they just have no choice but to do in order to combat the problem.

Hopefully, the issue will be resolved by tommorrow. But, today is Good Friday and Sunday is Easter so, things might move more slowly than usual.

At least the issue can be avoided by using IE. There is that saving grace.
