time perception

so there must be something known as time, we can't see it or touch it, but we experiance it, wether we can change it is a different matter, but<br /><br />we humans perceive it at a certain rate, dependant on age, an hour too you is the same as hour too me, though a month is a longer time to a ten year old than a forty year old person. ( a ten year old has only lived one hundred and twenty months, as opposed to four hundred and eighty,) so we percieve time differently as we get older<br />so if your an insect who only lives a few days, will time for you go slowly compared to our lives?<br />or<br />if your a tortoise, who lives for many years will time go more quickly, again compared to us<br /><br />do we all percieve time at different rates?
