Trump to withdraw Jared Isaacman's nomination as NASA chief

Sorry to read this. I think that Isaacman is the best we could hope for from the current administration. He has the credentials to do a superb job, which is more than most of the nominees for other even more critical positions.

I was wondering why his nomination was being "slow walked" compared to others that the Republicans had rammed through over Democrat's objections.

The impression I am getting from this article is that the President is not so sure that Isaacman will support his agenda without pushing back on aspects he disagrees with. Considering the amount of disagreement that I have with the President's agenda for cutting space exploration, I was hoping that Isaacman would do exactly that once he had been confirmed in the position.

So, I am taking this as a confirmation of Isaacman's real value, not as some sort of blemish on his reputation. I hope he continues to be a force for advancement in human presence in space.
