Is Venus Rises a movie or a series?<br /><br />Venus Rises is touted as an “internet serial” that will be presented in episodic form on the internet. VR was written as one long script. This first script is approximately 80 pages, split into 4 episodes. Each episode should average 22 minutes when completed. Subsequent scripts and episodes are on the table now.<br /><br />Early in the twenty first century, humankind’s quest to inhabit the stars took an unexpected turn. What our scientists dismissed as harmless geological events turned violent and catastrophic. Our Mother was speaking and no one listened. Our home soil, Earth’s, was now poisoning us… but the seeds of greed were being planted.<br />It is now decades later and the social elite have flourishing colonies established around Mars. Venus, one the other hand, hosts the working middle-class who labor endlessly to supply Mars with natural resources needed for energy and fuel. Mother Earth, barely habitable in small areas, cradles only the underprivileged and frail who couldn’t afford resettlement. <br />Entire planets in the Trinary region of space are now divided by the barely tolerable social inequalities that once plagued regions of Earth. The series has gone through some major changes and overhauls recently and it is back on track!!!!! NEW IMPROVEMENTS, UPDATES AND NEWS INCLUDE:<br /><br /><br />- One of our lead characters has been recast so we needed to reshoot all of the footage involving him. <br />- our CG modelers have been going at it voraciously to bring our settings, environments, and spacecrafts to life and they are starting to look great!<br />- our studio went through a major tech overhaul so post production, rendering, digi art, etc... is able to handle what this awesome production is becoming.<br />- we have added a second filming location and have built more sets while adding more touches to existing sets that will give the series a definitive look and appeal as well as speeding up production.<br />- the website has been updated and more and more people are checking out and signing up to our forums for the latest news about the series or to just chat with our actors and fans of sci-fi in general.<br /><br />WE INVITE YOU to witness our constant evolution from the smallest type independent series imaginable to what many are now saying is going to be one of the best independent productions/ series/ vidcasts to be shown on the internet. <br />WE THANK all of those who have expressed interest in Venus Rises since we began filming in only TWO ROOMS of a house and ONE writer/ director with a vision trying to do all of the work himself. Sounds and looks like a very interesting series. Can't wait to get hooked.
