Thank you. It is my understanding that around 1100 AD the temperature of the earth had to be much warmer than it is now, as much as 4 C. Historically, olives were grown in current day England at that time, and the ambient temperature had to be warmer to support the growth of olive trees in that country. Our lifetimes are such a short window into climate change. How accurate are our models? What do we know about changes in flora and fauna historically in the recent past (2000 years)?
