Any one who&nbsp; ever built something mechanical or electronic knows very well nothing works at first attempt. I'm not surprised. LHC is a huge...huge... mechanical system with incredible amount of electronics. For such system the faults are discovered only when it is made operational. Just like writing a computer program, doesn't matter how expert programmer you are, if you'd be on 7th heaven if your program runs without error the first time you try.</font> <div class="Discussion_UserSignature"> <font size="2" color="#ff0000"><strong>Earth is Boring</strong></font> </div>
