First of all I would like to say hello to every one on the forum. Right my question. I live in the U.K and I have been seeing this bright star to the west (I think). It appears very bright. And when the sun is setting it's the first star in the sky. When it's dark its to the right of Orion, quite a bit to the right. My first thought was Venus. But I'm no expert. Can some one please help?

Of course, in that case it's a planet, not a star <img src="http://sitelife.space.com/ver1.0/content/scripts/tinymce/plugins/emotions/images/smiley-laughing.gif" border="0" alt="Laughing" title="Laughing" /></p> <div class="Discussion_UserSignature"> <p><font color="#000080"><em><font color="#000000">But the Krell forgot one thing John.
