What would be the most interesting nebular?

I'm not so sure which nebular/nebulae would be the most well know or interesting.

I would bet that the Orion nebula is the most well-known and studied nebula (for humans on Earth at least <img src="/images/icons/smile.gif" />). <div class="Discussion_UserSignature"> </div>

I don't know about the most studied or best known (by scientists) nebula, but I would bet the most recognizable (visually) by the average Joe would be the Eagle Nebula (M16), with its Pillars of Creations, thanks to the gorgeous pictures taken in 1995 by the Hubble Space Telescope. <br />http://us.st11.yimg.com/us.st.yimg.com/I/skyimage_1908_41644441
