Good article, but a bit out of date (even though it was released only this morning): the well-received crossover episode "Those Old Scientists" dropped almost a month ago.

In the meantime, "Star Trek: Strange New Worlds" has boldly gone somewhere else no Star Trek series had ever gone (and for good reason.) The penultimate episode of season 2 was "Subspace Rhapsody", the first-ever star Trek MUSICAL. Widely panned by the fans, the episode made it obvious why none of the other dozen or so Star Trek shows or films had ever attempted the feat, the only mystery being why this one did.
