World's most sensitive dark matter detector delivers 1st results

With its first six months of operation, there is no indication of any candidate events. When LIGO came on-line, it got immediate results. The JWST also will not need six months to demonstrate results. [Looking forward to tomorrow, btw! :)]

I'm not criticizing but showing that some additional information might help us understand what time frame we should hope to see something, or be more assured we need to look beyond WIMPs. Perhaps it will take many more months to tickle the data enough to reveal positive results, and even from the last six months of data?
