Did that. Didn't receive any messages after July 27 2021 until Jan 31. Received 2 messages since then. So it was a temporary fix.

I have "Receive news and update emails" set to off. Nothing personal; I set these types of notifications off for EVERY site. However, this doesn't seem to cover notifications of new private messages from staff regarding news and updates. Ideally I'd like to continue receiving email notifications...
