Trump signs executive order to support moon mining, tap asteroid resources

I want the U.S. to pioneer Moon mining for profit because the Apollo Program proved that a nonprofit presence cannot be sustained. If by accident some scientific research should happen to get done, then all the better. Also Congress cannot be trusted- they're already trying to mess with Gateway.

NASA's famous 'worm' logo crawls back into action on SpaceX rocket

Yes! I remember that logo and love it, so glad to see it, and on a SpaceX rocket. It will be seen by millions :)

SpaceX delivers Falcon 9 rocket for Space Center Houston display

As NASA makes plans to return to the Moon by 2024, Congress is already questioning and proposing changes to that plan. SpaceX is however a bright spot overall in the world of space news, of good news and success. Congress has Artemis and Gateway as ever playing "Lucy and the football" with...

Boeing defends Starliner space capsule ground tests after problematic debut flight

Part of me wants to be very judgmental of Boeing not to even have done the software testing before launch. (Boggles the mind), but going forward I gotta just hope they get it together next time. growing up watching Gemini launches-they all made it to orbit.

Russia replaces two cosmonauts on next space station crew, citing medical reasons

Hoping this next Soyuz launch to the ISS will be the last for NASA! I shed a tear when Atlantis touched down for the last time in 2011- with no clear replacement in sight. Now that Commercial Crew launches are soon to take place, I'd better get tickets to see the first one!

SpaceX Crew Dragon arrives at launch site for the 1st orbital crew flight from US soil since 2011

Yes I'm a huge SpaceX fan, but if Starliner had been closer to launch I would be excited also. My ultimate dream is to see them both docked at ISS at the same time, with maybe Dreamchaser docked to a Bigelow hotel module ha ha.

Boeing's Starliner test flight had a 2nd critical software issue, NASA panel finds (report)

One of their parachutes failed to deploy-hardly a "picture perfect" landing!

Boeing's Starliner test flight had a 2nd critical software issue, NASA panel finds (report)

SpaceX has been refining it's cargo delivery software with each cargo Dragon's launch to the ISS. So when the unmanned crew Dragon docked it went flawlessly. Would have helped Boeing too had they started with a cargo version.

Should astronauts learn to use their toes and feet to hold and grab?

I did hear one of the astronauts on the ISS mention that it's the tops of their toes that get callused from anchoring them while in orbit.

'Star Trek: Picard' gets more 'engaging' in episode 2

I'm watching Picard and am provisionally impressed by the storyline so far, as with Discovery it's taking several episodes to find their stride. Sort of like Voyager where 7 of 9 didn't even show up till the 4th season.

That Crew Dragon test was not Accurate?

Salt taken- I watched the same capsule as you but it looked to me like it was accelerating as it separated from the falcon9, clouds in the way and all. Either way both Commercial Crew system are going to be cleared for crew even tho each had issues. I f you really want to nitpick pick Starliner...
