I stopped by the AAS today and sat in on a couple of talks. If anyone is in the DC area, I highly recommend stopping by. It goes through tomorrow. Also, if anyone here is in attendence send me a message, maybe we can meet up in the hotel bar and put a face to some of the names here.

I doubt many people on this forum - which is mostly interested laymen - would have been at AAS. I wasn't checking this forum during the conference (too busy with the astronomy!), otherwise I'd have taken you up on your offer. Just got back, it was a great time! Lots of ultra-interesting science.

Yeah, I have not checked these forums in a while. I attended the entire conference. It was the first AAS conference, and I was impressed. I actually volunteered to work IT and registration to get into the conference for free.
