P.S. Is a little antiquated English. so better ignore it. It was usually said by old Englishmen with white whiskers. It meant nothing really, so there is a connection; just something with which to end a sentence. Might be useful to anyone studying old English literature. Post Shakespeare, about then time of Jane Austen, or maybe later still.
