8'' Dob Question

Today i purchased my first telescope, a 8'' Dobsonian skywatcher. I know that the image is suposed to be upside down, as it is when I look through the finderscope. The problem is that when I look through the actual telescope the image is upside down (as expected) but it is also crooked. I havn't read anything about this being normal. I was wondering if the telescope should just be upside down or inverted (left to right) and otherwise strait? Is there a way to fix this, or does it not really matter?

Don't sweat it. It's normal. The finder scope is looking at it at one angle the scopes eyepiece is at another is all. <br /><br />The upside down/right side up only matters on terrestrial objects, not on deep space objects. <br /><br />On an SCT the image isn't upside down, it's flipped left right.<br /> <div class="Discussion_UserSignature"> <font size="1" color="#3366ff">www.siriuslookers.org</font> </div>

i understand that the image through the scope should be inverted and upside down, and theres no problem with my finderscope alignment <img src="/images/icons/wink.gif" />. <br /><br />My problems was with my view through eyepiece, its upsidedown (as expected) but the image is crooked, sortof like a slanted picture frame hangning on a wall. I was just wondering if it was normal for the image through the eyepiece to be 'slanted' AS WELL as up side down and inverted?
